About Me

My name is Alex and I am a diehard Knicks, Jets, and Yankees fan. I play and watch (a lot) of basketball when I am not working my day job as an attorney. I have been watching the Knicks since I was eight years-old during the days of Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, John Starks, Allan Houston, Larry Johnson, and all those amazing players. I fell in love during the time the Knicks were playing that aggressive, hard-nose style of basketball truly representing New York State and City’s grit, and I’ve remained hooked. But, since James Dolan took over the Knicks it’s been a lot of heartbreak, a lot of misery. I have cheered for the Knicks through the early 2000’s (David Lee, Nate Robinson, and Jamal Crawford), been loyal through the 2010’s (Amar’e Stoudemire, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Tomofey Mozgov), was fueled with hope through the Melo Era (Melo, Tyson Chandler, Amar’e, and JR Smith), was optimistic then devastated through the first rebuild when K.P. was drafted then traded, and now I am patiently (but with seasoned hope) watching the young-guns (Kevin Knox, Dennis Smith Jr., Mitchell Robinson, and the rest of the crew). From my early childhood fandom to entering my thirties (woo that is a hard pill to swallow), from Westchester to Boston, I’ve been here for it.

Since I have, and still do, love the Knicks, I wanted to take a shot at writing/blogging about one of my favorite teams because; (1) I love basketball (understatement); (2) I enjoy writing; and (3) I already talk a lot about this team (and basketball in general).

So, I hope that you as readers get to enjoy this journey as I write about one of my favorite sports teams and continue to develop my sports writing/blogging. I welcome you to engage with me about the topics that I write about, whether it is on the website or out in the real-world. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and…

LETS GO KNICKS!
